Our Mission
LIVE ~ LEARN ~ EDUCATE
A group of friends and family members established the Rhythm of Life Foundation to support the family and health care needs of Zoe Cadence Walenius. The Noblemen of Virginia Beach have adopted the Rhythm of Life as a project to be our support system for starting the foundation.
As the foundation grows, Zoe's parents plan to expand it to help the families of other OMS children by providing practicalities, medical supplies and financial support. In the future, we also desire to help families with the day to day drama of caring for our special children by having camps and retreats, offering MAD time and focusing on how to make life manageable by sharing our strength with others.
We will promote awareness of Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome and raise money for research.
This foundation is Christian based and will focus on helping families by showing God's amazing love and strength.

Families Of Children with Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome
M.A.D. Time
Mommy & Daddy Time
M.A.D. Time is in the beginning stages. The goal is to have volunteers that will provide childcare for foundation families so that parents can have a night out. It is imperative for parents of children with special needs to have time together. A lot of families fall apart when the stress of caring for a sick child becomes too great.
Foundation Families will be able to apply for a nite out, twice a month depending on availability of volunteers.
Volunteer Requirements
-First and foremost, STRICTLY volunteer. These families can't afford to hire babysitters and many times that is why they never get time together.
- CPR certified with proof of certification. You can obtain certification by contacting your local hospital for course schedules
-Valid state Driver's License (not just an ID) for emergency purposes
-Finger printing and background checks
